Travelling from Cork, Tralee or Killarney - route N20 and N21
Read the following directions first. They will be effective from late May 2001 and are a much more convenient route to our home. If you find that you are diverted off the highway by mandatory reroute at Patrickswell then skip to the alternative direction after the next italics block below.
A mile before you reach Patrickswell village you enter a dual carriageway; follow the directions for Limerick and Dublin. You will pass one or two further exits on your way to our home. The second-last exit is signposted for Shannon (N19) and the Hospital. Just under two miles later is the exit for our home. It is signed for Limerick Golf Club, Garryowen Rugby Club and Old Crescent Rugby Club on a large brown sign. It is also signed for Dooradoyle. Take this exit, and follow the signs for Limerick Golf Club.
At the top of the exit ramp is a roundabout. Take the fourth exit, onto the flyover bridge across the highway. Immediately ahead is a second roundabout. Take the first permitted exit, again following the signs for the Limerick Golf Club.
Continue on this road; after exactly half a mile, there is a small rural road to the right; it has a circular sign restricting traffic to vehicles of less than 3.5 tons. Turn right here, and continue for a quarter mile. Our home is the second house on the left. There is a Quality Approved Shamrock on the sign at the gate.
