The 50/1 Noctilux M - First Impressions

These three images are from my first film using my 'new' toy - the wonderful Noctilux (latest version). Small it ain't, but against that it delivers fine results in low light levels and is also an excellent general purpose lens, as these shots show.

It also is very good contre-jour. Flare is minimal. I also can't detect any vignetting on the negs at wide apertures, though this is supposed to be a characteristic of the lens.

Film was Kodacolor 400. Body was an M6. All negs scanned at 2700 dpi, with no further modification before saving as JPEGs.

All images load in high-quality colour only.
