Further Exercises

Further exercises could be at the discretion of the Course Tutor , or if you are practising yourself you could choose from the following,using what you have learned already.

 

  1. A School Newsletter
  1. Open creative Writer
  2. Choose Project Ideas
  3. Choose one of the Newsletter templates
  4. Adapt it to suit your purposes.
  1. A Greeting Card
  1. Open Creative Writer
  2. Choose Greeting cards
  3. Pick whichever one suits.
  4. Adapt with your own textetc.

c.A Banner

  1. Open Creative Writer
  2. Choose Banner
  3. Pick which size banner you want.
  4. Change the text.
  5. Print out banner.

d.Webpage

(note: If you choose to use Creative Writer to make a webpage , then choose WEB PAGES from the NEW PROJECT menu first. Do not use BLANK PAGE first.)

  1. Open Creative Writer.
  2. Choose NEW PROJECT.
  3. Choose WEB PAGES
  4. There are many templates given. Choose the one which suits you best.Then either compose or adapt.
  5. If you choose blank page then : Type in your text,add graphics, background etc.(note ; you will not be able to put in a border).
  6. Save your webpage.
  7. Preview your webpage.(It doesn’t always work properly but it might be that when you were setting up Creative Writer,you didn't choose the webpages option. You may have to setup again.)

e. Writing Ideas

1.Open Creative Writer

2. Choose Writing Ideas.

3. Pick an Idea…..the rest is self explanatory.

 

 

There are many other aspects of Creative Writer not mentioned here but if you have completed the suggested exercises then you could explore on your own using good teaching practice.
