Make bookmarks of your favourite Educational sites.Show them to pupils.

Edcast is a project where sites are downloaded via TV signals. It might be a cheap and efficient way of getting sites for browsing.There would be no interactivity however. A  TV receiving card would be needed. The company involved is called BOCAM.

Internet Sites may be downloaded for offline browsing by using such programs as Web Whacker. It basically saves sites while you are on the Internet and they may be viewed offline at another time.

In schools there is normally supervision. Home is more problematical.
