Irish Multiple Births Association
PO Box 5053, Swords, Co Dublin. Ph: 01-8451087
The Irish Multiple Births Association is a young Association, whose objectives are to improve current services and to act as advocates for parents and their families of twins, triplets and higher multiples. We hope to do this by:
Increasing professional awareness of how existing services could be improved.
Organising formal support for those families who feel they need help and advice.
Providing information which is easily accessible for parents, hospitals and other professionals.
Organising Study Days for parents and interested professionals.
The births of multiples can be exciting, overwhelming and sometimes frightening. Multiple parenting, like the children, presents different situations and experiences for parents.
We hope that we can help other parents cope with the challenges of raising twins, triplets or higher multiples.
The Association produces a two-monthly newsletter which is circulated to all members. To see an example of the newsletter, click here.
