I am a Manchester United fan . In the year 1986 Alex Feguson became Manchester United manger . Two years later BRIAN Mc Clair was signed toManchester United for £1. 5 million. In the year 1988 Mark Hughes came back to Manchester United at £1 . 8 million.
One year later in the year 1989 Alex Feguson bought Neil Web from Nottingham forest and Mike Phelan from norwich . The reason for not giving Nottingham forest or norwich capital letters is because they are no good
The same year Manchester United sold Martin Edwards for a sensationnal £30 million . Manchester United then bought Paul Ince for 2 million .
In 1991 Manchester United beat Barcelona 2-1 in the European Cup final. In 1992 Peter Schmeichel and Paul Parker were both signed.
In 1993 Man Utd won the league. 1994 Man Utd won the league and the FA Cup(The Double).Fergie signed Cantona(Below) for 1.2 million. (My favourite player)
In 1994 Sir Matt Busby died at an age 84 . After so many triumphs 1995 was to be a depressing year for United . Yet one way or another, it was difficult
to keep Manchester United out of the headlines though on
occasion they were not the type of headlines the football club
wanted. The biggest story of the year was undoubtedly Eirc Cantona 's much
publised Kung Fu kick at a Crystal Place supporter following his sending
off at SelhurstPark .
Unfortunately for United the television cameras caught
Cantona 's reckless kick for millions to see and was to be replayed in slow motion again and again over the next few months. The Frenchman
was immediately banned by the club for the remainder of the season and
heavily fined . Some weeks later the football association extended that ban
. As if that was not enough, the Croydon Magistrates Court then imposed a two
week 's prison sentence on United's French star ,though on appeal this
was reduced to community service.
