Lunch and Break
First break is at half ten and lasts fifteen minutes, second break is at twelve and lasts for half an hour. We don't have a canteen, so everybody packs their own lunch. This is usually something like a sandwich and a drink and maybe a yoghurt or fruit. We aren't allowed to have sweets or chocolatein school. We can have crisps and popcorn. We have to eat our lunch in the classroom. We have first lunch at 10.20 a.m and second lunch at 11.50 a.m.After lunch we have yard break. All the school go out to the yard. It gets a bit crowded. The small children are in one yard and we are in the big yard. We have a small part at the back of one of the prefabs and this is the pitch. We play football with a small ball. Everyday a different class use the pitch. We have two breaks. One is at 10.30 for 15 minutes and one is at 12.00 for 30 minutes.
Here are some of the things we do in the yard during breaktime (sos):
chasing, football, footsie, read, talk, dance.
