A native of County Tyrone, Michael has been professionally involved in the field of natural resource and heritage since 1979 and has been working as Park Manager for the past ten years in the Pentlands Regional Park, Edinburgh. Michael has overall responsibility for the implementation of the Councilís Plan.
A graduate of UCD , Mary worked in private practice for many years before joining the Heritage Council. Mary works with the Standing Committee on Architecture which also covers traditional architecture and industrial heritage.
Formerly a Park Ranger in the Burren National Park, Liamís main interest is in ornithology. Liam works with the Standing Committee on Wildlife.
Eithne worked as an archaeologist, Curator of the Donegal County Museum and Project Manager of the Galway Theatre Trust before joining the Heritage Council. Eithne works with the Museums Committee.
Charles has worked on the Archaeological Survey of Co. Sligo and has published research on a wide area in Irish and international journals. Charles works with the Standing Committee on Archaeology.
Previously engaged as a consultant for a period with the former National Heritage Council, Paddy advises the Council on its role as a statutory consultee in the planning process. He also assists with the Architecture Committee.
Beatrice has gained experience in the archaeological and museum sectors. In addition to carrying out her role as Education and Communication Officer, she works with the Standing Committee on Inland Waterways.
