Riverside Café is delighted to be part of the upcoming “A Taste of West Cork” festival.   Each day we will be offering a Special Dish using local products to promote and showcase our local producers.

 

We will be hosting two events at the restaurant and we will also be found at the Sunday Food Festival on September 19th.

 

Our first event will be on  Monday September 13th called “Let Food Be Your Medicine” where Anne Darcy and our own Majella O Neill, both Nutritional Therapists, will talk about the medicinal and nutritional benefits of our everyday food in the prevention and treatment of illness.

 

Our second event will be the presentation of the Gourmet Vegetarian – vegetarian food presented beautifully. We can also be found selling our fantastic handmade cakes, patisserie and speciality breads at the Sunday Food Festival all day. We will be situated beside Cork Coffee Roasters who supply our coffee in the restaurant. What could be better than a fantastic cup of coffee with a piece of our scrumptious West Cork apple cake.

 

 

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

September 13th “Let Food Be Your Medicine” 6.30 pm followed by delicious tastings of many health promoting foods available.

 

September 18th “The Gourmet Vegetarian” 7.00 pm onwards €35.00

 

September 19th The Sunday Food Festival – we will have a fantastic food stall with all our handmade products.
