FRIDAY NIGHT CLUB - Athy, Co. Kildare

A Youth Club with a membership of 30 young people between the ages of 13-17 yrs, from Athy.

SCOOTERS CLUB - KILDANGAN\ NURNEY - Nurney, Co. Kildare

The Senior Youth Club has a membership of 30 young people between the ages of 10-15, from Kildangan and Nurney.

There is also a Junior Club for 5-10 year olds, which caters for about 30/40 young people.

BROWNSTOWN YOUTH CLUB - Nurney, Co. Kildare

A Youth Club with membership of 35 young people between the ages of 10-15 yrs, from the Brownstown area.

LEVITSTOWN YOUTH CLUB - Castledermot, Co. Kildare

A Youth Club with a membership of 30 young people between the ages of 10-15 yrs, from the Levitstown

SUNCROFT YOUTH CLUB - Suncroft, Co. Kildare

A Youth Club consisting of approximately 20 young people aged 14-18 years, from Suncroft Parish. Parish.

'Indians' Youth Group

A mixed Youth Group with 12 members between the ages of 13-16 mainly from Clonmullion/Woodstock Estates in Athy, most attend Secondary School. The Indian's meet every Thursday night from 7-9 p.m.

'Girlzone' After schools Group

A Girl's after school's group with 13 members all aged 10-12 from both Clonmullion and Woodstock estates and all attend Primary School. The Indian's meet every Tuesday from 3-4 p.m.

'Midnight Riders' After school Group

A boy's After school group aged 10-12 from Clonmullion and Woodstock areas and all would attend the CBS School in Athy.

• Support clubs and groups in their work with young people.
• Develop Volunteer base in Athy, improve training, start new groups.
• Network with other youth work organisations in Athy, Kildare and the South East to develop positive links with statutory and voluntary groups.
• To identify the changing needs of young people in Athy and respond effectively to them.
• Promote a social education and a community development approach to youth work and encourage participation and a bottom up approach within the project.
