CONFEY ACTIVITIES GROUP

This group does things such as treasure trails, bowling, teamwork exercises, games and parties. The basic idea is that it is fun for all.

'CRUISERS' After schools Group

The group meets every Wednesday from 4.00-5.30pm. There activities include pool competitions, table tennis, trips , table quizzes and videos etc.

CONFEY YOUTH GROUP

Activities such as soccer, unihoc, basketball, and table tennis play a big part in this group.

'GIRLZONE' After schools Group

A Girl's after school's group with 13 members all aged 10-12 from both Clonmullion and Woodstock estates and all attend Primary School. The girls meet every Tuesday from 3-4 p.m. The group does everything from making cards to clay modelling, and from tie-dying T-shirts to making key-rings and hair slides in leatherwork sessions; and still they manage to fit in time for games , discussion groups and the occasional video session and party!

'INDIANS' Youth Group

A mixed Youth Group with 12 members between the ages of 13-16 mainly from Clonmullion/Woodstock Estates in Athy, most attend Secondary School. The Indian's meet every Thursday night from 7-9 p.m. This very enthusiastic group gets involved in games sessions, arts and crafts sessions, leatherwork, and outings.

LEIXLIP COMPUTER GROUP

This Group aims to teach computer skills to 10 members aged 12-15 . All the leaders work in the local technological sector and they want to pass on their skills to young people. They meet Monday nights and their programme includes setting up web pages, access to the Internet etc.

'MIDNIGHT RIDERS' After school Group

A boy's After school group aged 10-12 from Clonmullion and Woodstock areas and all would attend the CBS School in Athy. The group is involved in many activities such as clay modelling and arts and craft and many others

This is a project in which a number of young people are trained in multimedia and Computers
